At Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital our doctors practise a model of shared care. This means that two doctors will be involved in managing your care whilst you are an inpatient with us. They work collaboratively together to ensure that your medical needs are met and the best outcomes are achieved.

A physician will oversee your rehabilitation program and monitor your progress in conjunction with other team members. Our Rehabilitation Physicians have a breadth and depth of medical expertise including geriatrics, pain management, dementia, falls management and spasticity management.

Your day to day medical management is attended by one of a team of GPs who consult at our hospital. These doctors are based at a number of private practices in the surrounding area.
- These doctors work closely with the Rehabilitation Physician in ensuring your medical needs (for example medications and pathology requests) are met to optimise your progress.
