- 90 bed capacity, featuring 78 private rooms with en suites
- 3 patient lounges where patients and visitors may gather or relax
- On site kitchen for patient, visitor and staff meals
- Free on site parking for patients and visitors
- Wireless internet access
- Located directly opposite Tunstall Square Shopping Centre
- On site maintenance on call 24 hours
- Water tanks that harvest storm water run-off for garden watering
- CCTV cameras operating in public areas throughout the hospital to ensure safety and privacy
Donvale is fully equipped with rehabilitation therapy spaces which were expanded in 2017, including:
- Two large purpose built gymnasiums
- A warm, light filled, garden surrounded, indoor hydrotherapy pool with change rooms and shower facilities
- Therapy areas designed for practising everyday occupations including our home-style kitchen and therapy workshop
- Group rooms which contain modern audiovisual equipment suitable for a variety of education sessions
- Outdoor spaces including landscaped gardens and extensive walking paths to improve mobility
- Therapy courtyards and access to the park next door (a recent community partnership) for therapeutic gardening, recreational and social outdoor activities
- Private consultation rooms for medical assessments and reviews
