Inpatient Rehabilitation
Our inpatient rehabilitation program involves a stay in our specialised rehabilitation ward where 24-hour nursing and medical care is provided.
When you attend inpatient rehabilitation, our multi-disciplinary team will provide rehabilitation 5-7 days per week.
You will stay in either a private or twin room with ensuite, and will have access to landscaped gardens, hydrotherapy pool, homestyle kitchen and more.
Rehabilitation occurs in our specialty gyms and treatment spaces, where one-on-one sessions, group sessions or private consultations are available – based your needs.
What does the inpatient rehabilitation involve?
On admission to Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital, you will be assessed by a multidisciplinary team who will establish an individualised plan of therapy in consultation with you. Together, realistic goals will be set.
Your rehabilitation team design and implement a program to enable you to achieve the highest level of independence in both the hospital setting and on return to home, work and leisure activities. Weekly case conferences are conducted with the rehabilitation team to assess your program and progress.

- Multi-trauma (following a car accident or work place accident)

Funding your inpatient stay:
Inpatient rehabilitation programs are funded by your private health hospital cover.
